Cllr Mary Shephard

 

Mary lived in Wales, Bristol and Hull before moving to Fair Oak in 1969.Both her children grew up in the village, attending local schools, before taking their A levels at Barton Peveril College.   She was a Parish Councillor in Fair Oak before standing for Bishopstoke East Ward which includes her home address.

Mary is particularly interested in planning issues, and the impact new development has on the immediate neighbourhood, and also the wider impact on roads and services in the area. She is concerned that at times it has been impossible to accommodate all local children in local schools.
