Cllr Christine McKeone

 

Chris moved to Fair Oak from London 35 years ago and came to live in Bishopstoke four years later.  

For more than 20 years, she worked as a Social Worker before retiring in 2007.   She still keeps her hand in with some sessional and voluntary work.   Over the years, Chris has had involvement with various local organisations but family and work commitments often limited the time she was able to spare.   Now she's retired she looks forward to becoming more involved with Village life again. 

Chris says 'Bishopstoke has grown and changed since I moved here in the 1970s.   I'm particularly interested in how planning decisions can affect and change the area and I realise how much care needs to be taken in making sure changes are for the better.'
