Shears Mill

The Parish are currently looking at a project that would involve the restoration of the turbines that once powered Shears Mill. The picture below shows Shears Mill in the early nineteen hundreds and was taken from outside what is now the River Inn. The steam wagon is parked in Riverside.

The Borough Council, Hampshire Mills Group, the Bishopstoke Society and the Community Association are amongst those eager to see this project bear fruit.
